Camden MPEG meeting: Coaching skills for multi-professional supervisors

Borough Multi-Professional Educator Groups (MPEGs) aim to support clinical professionals who oversee, train and support colleagues in their daily responsibilities without formal educator or supervision training. Workshops enhance supervision skills, nurture positive learning environments, cultivate interprofessional relationships and equip educators with tools for educating.

All clinical staff are welcome to join this session on coaching that will enable attendees to: 

• Understand the basic principles of coaching. 

• Appreciate the difference between teaching, coaching and mentoring. 

• Understand the importance and skills of active listening. 

• Understand why coaching is a useful skill for supervisors.
