Preceptorship Group Sessions

The North Central London Primary, Community and Social Care Nursing Super Hub are supporting new nurses with a preceptorship programme which has been developed joint across North Central and East London Community Education Provider Networks (NCEL CEPN) and is guided by the Capital Nurse Preceptorship Framework.

Preceptorship is suitable for nurses newly registered with the NMC including return to practice and overseas nurses and may also benefit nurses who have started a new role in the Primary, Community and Social Care Nursing within the last year.

The programme consists of a series of group learning and reflection sessions and regular support and review of your progress from your work-based preceptor*.

The group sessions each have a specific focus including

  • Accountability
  • Dealing with conflict/managing difficult conversations
  • Delivering safe care
  • Leadership
  • Quality Improvement
  • Safe staffing /raising concerns
  • Team working

The sessions will be running every six weeks and you can choose to attend at either

Finchley Memorial Hospital

Haringey Civic Centre

South Camden Centre for Health

Wednesday 2-4pm

Tuesday 2-4pm

Thursday 2-4pm

from 17th Jan 2018

from 31st Jan 2018

from 22nd Feb 2018

six weekly from then 29th March
